a bit about me & my work

I didn’t set out to be a coach. It just happened.
At work and in my community, I naturally became the one who held space—setting up lunch breaks and quiet moments where people could talk, unload, and reflect. What felt like second nature to me—offering insight, listening deeply, guiding people toward clarity—seemed almost novel to them.

Over time, I noticed a shift. It wasn’t just friends or colleagues seeking my input. People in senior leadership roles began pulling me aside—not for business strategy, but for something deeper: intuitive guidance, emotional clarity, and life insight.

But the more this happened, I noticed something: while some people moved through life expecting to be supported, to be listened to, to be held—Black women didn’t.

We—Black women—were taught to be strong. To hold everything in, to carry everyone else’s weight before our own. We were not given the same permission to be soft, to fall apart, to be cared for. Vulnerability wasn’t a given—it was something we had to justify.

And that’s when I realized: this is my work!
Creating a space where Black women can experience relief and healing. Healing work isn’t just about personal growth trends or disappearing DEI work but about undoing generations of conditioning that told us we weren't valuable without production. Where we could see ourselves reflected in our healing. Where laughter, joy, and pleasure were not something hard-won.
this is personal
I know what it’s like to grow up in environments—both societal and familial—that didn’t feel safe. Where survival meant shape-shifting:shrinking, over-performing, or silencing yourself to make it through. That kind of conditioning doesn’t just disappear. It settles in the body. It becomes the lens through which we move through life, love, work, and relate to ourselves.

But I also know this:
True healing happens in safe, sacred spaces.
When we are given room to breathe, to rage, to be seen—we begin to remember who we are beneath the armor. We soften. We unfold. We return to ourselves.

There is nothing more powerful to me than watching another Black woman exhale—realizing, maybe for the first time, that she doesn’t have to hold it all alone.
Ancestral, Intuitive, Practical
My work is rooted in the practices and wisdom of our ancestors, honoring the intuitive knowing that lives in our bodies. I help Black women reconnect with that knowing—to unlearn patterns of self-denial, reclaim their power, and step into lives filled with more ease, alignment, and self-trust.

My approach isn’t about “fixing” anything—because you were never broken. Instead, it’s about guiding you back to yourself.

Healing, joy, and pleasure aren’t luxuries; they’re our birthright.

Why I'm Not a Licensed Therapist
For nearly a decade, I wrestled with the idea of becoming a licensed therapist. Not because I truly desired that path—but because I feared I wouldn’t be taken seriously without the letters behind my name. But I could never bring myself to do it. And now I understand why.

Getting licensed would have placed me inside a framework that couldn’t hold my full self—or yours. It would have limited the spiritual, intuitive, and ancestral aspects of this work that are so essential to real healing.

And so, I chose a different path. One that honors the wholeness of who we are: our mind, our body, our spirit, our lineage, our emotions.
