-
What is The FRAY Alchemist? The FRAY Alchemist is a healing-rooted coaching practice that helps folks release ancestral burdens, reclaim joy and clarity, and reconnect with their embodied power. My work blends somatic practices, intuitive coaching, and ritual-based healing into a transformational journey rooted in legacy and liberation.
-
What does “FRAY” stand for?FRAY is a sacred acronym that represents the foundational stages of transformation in my work: Forgive – Release what was never yours to carry Reconcile – Return to your intuitive, whole self Amplify – Take up space, unapologetically Yield – Let your external life reflect your internal growth This path mirrors how we transform pain into power, legacy into liberation.
-
Is this therapy? No. While this work is deeply healing, it is not a substitute for clinical therapy or mental health treatment. I do not diagnose or treat mental illness. That said, many of my clients work with both a therapist and a coach (me) to support their healing and embodiment from different angles.
-
Is this spiritual or religious? This work is deeply spiritual—but not religious. I honor ancestral wisdom, intuitive knowing, and the sacredness of your body, but I don’t operate within any single religious framework. All are welcome, as long as they respect the lineage and energy of this space.
-
What types of coaching programs are available?I offer 1:1 coaching programs ranging from 4–12 weeks, each tailored to a specific arc of healing and transformation. These include structured sessions, support between calls, and sometimes emergency sessions if life moves fast. Additionally, I provide corporate coaching and wellness partnerships for values-aligned organizations.
-
Can I just book one session?Single sessions are only available to existing clients. If you’re new, you’ll start with a free clarity call to see if we’re a good fit, and then choose from one of the foundational packages.
-
Do you offer sliding scale or financial support?Yes. I use a pay-it-forward pricing model with three tiers: Community – For Black women who could benefit from cost-accessible support Sustainer – Standard rate Liberation – A contribution-based tier that helps fund accessibility for others Choosing your tier is your first intuitive act of alignment in this work. It’s a moment to tune into both your current capacity and your commitment—to yourself, to this process, and to our shared container. This is not charity. This is sacred exchange. When you invest with intention, the transformation deepens—for both of us.
-
What if I’m not a Black woman or a woman at all? Can I still work with you?My work centers the healing and liberation of Black women—full stop. That said, I do work with values-aligned individuals of other identities and genders who deeply respect that centering. If you’re willing to engage this work with humility, honor the cultural lineage it comes from, and invest equitably to support it, you’re welcome here. This space is not about performance or perfection—it’s about resonance, responsibility, and readiness.
-
Do you provide coaching for teams or companies?Yes, I offer healing-informed coaching and wellness packages for organizations committed to supporting Black employees and those most impacted by systemic harm. These packages include workshops, small-group coaching, and leadership accountability.
-
Is this DEI work? No. While I bring over 10 years of DEI experience, this work is not traditional diversity or HR training. It is healing-centered and rooted in the lived realities of those who’ve been asked to carry too much for too long. This work is about care, clarity, and liberation—not compliance.
-
What services do you offer for companies?I offer a range of services for companies, including: 1:1 coaching for BIPOC employees and leaders, small-group embodiment and healing sessions, workshops on ancestral wisdom, nervous system regulation, and sustainable leadership, and strategic advising for healing-centered culture building. All packages are customized in collaboration with your team’s needs.
-
Can non-Black individuals participate in workshops or coaching?Select offerings are available to all individuals, with affinity-based healing sessions reserved for Black women or aligned groups. The work is most powerful when it centers those most impacted, with the option for others to engage through reflection and responsibility—not performance.
