PRIVATE WORK

WHEN ONE DOOR IS NOT ENOUGH

Some betrayals do not arrive alone.

They move through family, partnership, faith, work, motherhood, identity, and the body, layering one wound over another until it becomes difficult to know where survival ends and you begin.

Private work is for the Black woman who is ready to understand what chronic betrayal shaped, reconnect with the parts of herself that survival taught her to leave behind, and begin building her life around something other than bracing, managing, and enduring.

PLEASE NOTE:

I work with no more than five private clients at a time so each woman receives the depth, presence, and care this work requires.

When all five spaces are filled, applications may remain open for the next available opening.

THE IN-BETWEEN

The In-Between is the place you arrive after you can no longer unknow what happened, but before your life has fully changed around that truth.

You may have named the betrayal.

You may understand what it shaped.

And still, you have to wake up the next morning and keep living inside a life that no longer fully fits.

Go to work.

Answer the message.

Show up for the family.

Carry the responsibilities.

That is part of the grief.

You are mourning what happened, what did not happen, who you had to become, and what should have been yours all along.

Safety.

Protection.

Care.

Belonging.

Softness.

The freedom to rest and trust your own knowing.

These were not luxuries you failed to create. They were things you should have had access to, and they were withheld, denied, or taken.

The In-Between can feel unnameable because the old way of living no longer works, but the new way is still unfamiliar.

This is where integration begins.

You learn how to hold what you now know while moving through a life that still asks you to be the same.

Private work gives this space somewhere to be held, so you can grieve what was taken, listen for what is becoming possible, and begin building a life that no longer requires you to abandon yourself in order to survive.

It often shows up like:

  • You understand more than you used to, but still find yourself repeating patterns you can now see clearly.

  • You feel grief, anger, or exhaustion rising as you recognize how much of your life was organized around survival.

  • You are less willing to keep the peace, overfunction, or abandon yourself, but you are still learning what to do instead.

  • You question decisions that once felt automatic.

  • You feel disconnected from people, roles, or environments that no longer fit, even when you are not yet ready or able to leave them.

  • You know something is changing, but you do not yet have language for who you are becoming.

  • You may feel restless, tender, uncertain, or caught between the life you have been living and the truth you can no longer ignore.

This does not mean you are lost.

It may mean you are finally beginning to live from what you know.

WHO PRIVATE WORK IS FOR

Private work is for the Black woman whose betrayal is layered.

It may move through family, partnership, faith, work, motherhood, identity, or the body.

You may already understand some of what happened.

You may have read the books, done the reflection, set some boundaries, or begun listening to your body.

But insight alone has not fully changed the patterns.

Private work may be for you if:

  • You are ready to look at what betrayal taught you to become.

  • You want support understanding the parts of you that protect, overfunction, disappear, stay ready, or keep the peace.

  • You are moving through grief, change, or the in between and need somewhere for that process to be held.

  • You want to reconnect with your body, intuition, and ancestral knowing without rushing yourself toward forgiveness or resolution.

  • You are willing to be honest about what is no longer working, even if you do not yet know what comes next.

This work is not about fixing you.

It is about helping you understand what survival shaped, restore connection with the parts of yourself that were left behind, and begin choosing from something other than fear, bracing, and self abandonment.

If you recognize yourself here, you do not need to keep reading before taking the next step.

what happens inside the work

Private work is not a rigid path you have to follow perfectly.

It is a responsive space where we begin with what is most present, listen for what your body and protective parts are communicating, and work with what is ready to be seen, named, or held.

Some sessions may center grief. Some may center a part of you that has been carrying too much. Some may focus on nervous system safety, ancestral connection, ritual, or the choices now becoming possible.

The work moves with you.

There is direction, but there is also room for what arrives.

THE BECOMING

The Becoming is the deeper private work container for the Black woman who has named the betrayal and is now learning how to live with what she knows.

It is for the woman who is ready to understand what chronic betrayal shaped, grieve what was lost or taken, and begin building a life that is no longer organized around survival.

Across 12 private sessions, we work with what is most present while keeping sight of the larger pattern. This may include nervous system safety, shadow and parts work, ancestral connection, ritual, intuitive guidance, and support integrating what you now know into the life you are still living.

The work is responsive, but it is not without direction.

We return again and again to the central questions: What did the betrayal shape? What did you have to become to survive it? What is asking to be grieved, reclaimed, or released? What becomes possible when survival is no longer making every decision?

The Becoming gives this work enough time to deepen, not so you can become someone entirely new, but so you can stop abandoning the parts of yourself that betrayal taught you to leave behind.

What’s Included in
The Becoming

The Becoming is a 12-session, 1:1 coaching container for Black women across the diaspora and those who align with this work.

12 private 55-minute sessions

We meet regularly, usually weekly, with room for biweekly sessions when needed. This allows the work to stay connected and deepen at a pace your body can hold.

Across our time together, we move through three key movements:

Mapping the In-Between

Early in our work, we name where you are now. We look at what is ending, what no longer fits, what your body is holding, and what is becoming harder to ignore.

We also begin identifying what chronic betrayal shaped, including the roles, patterns, and protective responses that helped you survive.

This gives us a shared map of your in between, so we are not wandering in the dark.

Ancestral Alignment

When the timing feels right, we create space to invite your ancestors more intentionally into the work.

We listen for patterns, protection, wisdom, and support. We explore what you may be asked to lay down, reclaim, or carry differently in this season.

Integration & Wayfinding

As our work begins to close, we gather the threads of what has shifted.

We name what feels different in your body, your choices, your relationships, and the way you understand yourself.

Together, we identify what will help you continue honoring this work beyond our sessions.

THE SESSIONS IN-BETWEEN

The heart of the work often lives between these larger movements.

This is where we stay with what is real and present.

We may work with:

→ Truths your body has been carrying

→ Grief connected to what happened and what should have been yours

→ Urgency, grasping, numbness, and the feeling that there is never enough

→ Parts of you that overwork, disappear, rage, keep the peace, or stay small

→ Choices that need to fit your actual life, not an idealized version of healing

These sessions do not follow a rigid sequence. The work is responsive, ancestor aware, and paced with your nervous system rather than against it.

Practices that arise naturally

When it feels supportive, we may create simple rituals, reflections, grounding practices, or meditations to help you remain connected to the work between sessions.

Nothing performative.

Nothing else to keep up with.

Only what feels useful, doable, and aligned with where you are.

Investment for the becoming

Money is part of the container, too.

I name my prices clearly because I know how exhausting it can be to see “DM me for rates” and get surprised on a call. You deserve to know the investment up front so your body, your spirit, and your nervous system can be in the room with you when you decide. If this decision is made in urgency, pressure, or fear this work will be misaligned from the jump.

The Becoming is a 12-session, 1:1 coaching container.

Pay in Full - $3,333

→ One-time payment before our first session

→ Payment in full includes 1 bonus 60-minute coaching session

(to be used within 3 months after completion)

→ Ideal if you want to anchor in, settle the money piece, and focus fully on the work

3-Month Plan

→ Three monthly payments of $1,111

→ Total investment: $3,333

The first payment is made before our first session. The remaining two payments are made monthly.

Choosing a payment plan does not change the depth, care, or support you receive inside the container.

This is a significant commitment of time, energy, and money. The application process gives us space to determine whether the work, timing, and investment feel aligned for both of us.

THE BEGINNING

The Beginning is a focused private intensive for the Black woman who knows something happened, but does not yet have clear language for what it was.

It is for the woman who can feel the effects in her body, relationships, choices, or ability to rest, but may still be calling it stress, conflict, family issues, burnout, or simply the way things are.

Across six private sessions, we focus on one primary area of betrayal and work to name what happened, understand what it shaped, and identify what your body has been trying to communicate.

The work is focused, but it is not shallow.

We return again and again to the central questions: What happened? What have you been calling it instead? What made the betrayal difficult to recognize? What did your body learn to expect? What did you have to become to survive it?

The Beginning gives us enough space to find the truth clearly, not so you can solve your whole life at once, but so you can stop treating your response like it is the problem and begin choosing what needs attention next.

What’s Included in
The Beginning

The Beginning is a six session private intensive designed to help you name the betrayal, understand what it shaped, and identify where relief can begin.

6 private 55-minute sessions

We meet weekly so the work can remain focused, connected, and supported from one session to the next.

Across our time together, we move through three key movements.

FINDING THE LANGUAGE

We begin with the experience, relationship, environment, or system that feels most present.

Together, we look beneath words like stress, conflict, burnout, family issues, disappointment, or “just how things are” to understand what may have actually happened.

The goal is not to force a name onto your experience.

It is to help you hear what your body and your story have been trying to say.

UNDERSTANDING WHAT IT SHAPED

Once the pattern becomes clearer, we explore what your body learned to expect and what you had to become in order to survive.

This may include bracing, overfunctioning, self doubt, numbness, hyper independence, keeping the peace, overexplaining, staying ready, or leaving yourself behind.

This is where your response begins to make sense.

CHOOSING WHERE RELIEF BEGINS

As the intensive comes to a close, we gather what has been named and identify what needs attention next.

That may be grief, nervous system support, a protective part, a boundary, a truth that needs somewhere to land, or a larger transition into The Becoming.

THE SESSIONS IN-BETWEEN

The work remains responsive to what is present.

We may use shadow and parts work, nervous system support, ancestral connection, ritual, or intuitive guidance to help the truth become clearer and easier to hold.

PERSONALIZED BETRAYAL NAMING MAP

At the end of the intensive, you will receive a personalized summary of what we uncovered together, including what happened, what made it difficult to recognize, what it shaped, and what may need support next.

ONE PERSONALIZED PRACTICE

Depending on what emerges, we may create one grounding practice, reflection, ritual, body anchor, or ancestral invitation to support you beyond the sessions.

The Beginning is not about solving your whole life in six sessions.

It is about naming the wound clearly enough that you can stop minimizing what happened and stop treating yourself like the problem.

Investment for the beginning

Money is part of the container, too.

I name my prices clearly because I know how exhausting it can be to see “DM me for rates” and get surprised on a call. You deserve to know the investment up front so your body, your spirit, and your nervous system can be in the room with you when you decide. If this decision is made in urgency, pressure, or fear this work will be misaligned from the jump.

The Beginning is a six session private intensive.

Pay in Full - $1,800

→ One-time payment before our first session

→ Ideal if you want to anchor in, settle the money piece,

and focus fully on the work

2-Month Plan

→ Two monthly payments of $900

→ Total investment: $1,800

The first payment is made before our first session. The second payment is made one month later.

Choosing the payment plan does not change the depth, care, or support you receive inside the intensive.

This is a focused commitment of time, energy, and money. The application process gives us space to determine whether The Beginning is the right container for what you need.

how we begin

Private work begins with an application.

This gives you space to share what you are navigating, what kind of support you are looking for, and which container may fit your needs.

It also gives me space to consider whether the work is within my scope and whether The Beginning or The Becoming is the better fit.

Step 2:
I Review Your Responses

Step 3:
We Decide Together

You will answer a short series of questions about what brings you to private work, what you want support with, and what you hope will feel different.

I read each application personally.

If the fit is clear, I may invite you directly into the appropriate container.

If I need more context, I may invite you to a brief fit conversation before a decision is made.

If we both feel aligned, you will receive the agreement, payment details, and scheduling steps.

There is no pressure. The goal is simply to make sure the work, timing, and investment feel right for both of us.
